Wild Fantasies

So I'm working on one of my many novels that I hope to someday get sold but another idea came to me for another one, thanks to one of my friends. I haven't actually started writing it but I have been taking down notes about the characters, plot line, etc as they come to me. The only thing that hasn't came to me yet is the setting. 

So here's a question for anyone to answer: If you were writing a supernatral/fantasy story with vampires, werewolves, merpeople, and other creatures where are some of the places you would have it take place?

SUMMARY:  *SongFic**ATF/AU* Casey starts thinking about all the times that JD takes off on missions and she always waiting for him to come back and all the things she give up for him.

It's the only one that's done at the moment all of my others are still WIP. Oh, by the way I go by the pen name Ruby Sparrow over there.
